Educators Institute publishes the following disclosures in accordance with the Utah Postsecondary School and State Authorization Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 34, and Utah Administrative Code R152-34.

In this notice, "Candidate" means a student enrolled in a program of Educators Institute.

Programs covered by this notice:

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Teaching (BAS-T), Elementary Education with Multilingual Learner Concentration, 120 credit hours.

  • Bachelor of Applied Science in Teaching (BAS-T), Special Education, 120 credit hours.

Accreditation Status

Educators Institute is not accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education. The BAS-T is not accredited by an accrediting agency. Educators Institute is registered with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection to operate as a postsecondary school.

State registration is not accreditation. A certificate of registration from the Utah Division of Consumer Protection means the institution has met the state's legal requirements to operate. It does not mean the state supervises, recommends, endorses, or accredits the institution or its programs.

Because Educators Institute is not accredited, prospective candidates should understand the following before enrolling:

  • Credits and degrees earned at Educators Institute may not transfer to other colleges or universities. Each receiving institution decides on its own whether to accept them.

  • Educators Institute does not participate in federal Title IV student aid. Candidates cannot use federal grants or federal student loans to attend.

  • Completing this program does not by itself guarantee a teaching license or certification. Educator licensure is granted by each state's licensing authority and generally requires completion of a state-approved educator preparation program along with any required assessments. Candidates who intend to seek licensure should confirm with the licensing agency in the state where they plan to teach that this program meets that state's requirements before enrolling.

Candidates are encouraged to weigh these points and to direct any questions to Educators Institute before enrolling. It is the Candidate's responsibility to confirm with any prospective institution or employer whether credits, degrees, or certificates earned at Educators Institute will be accepted.

Licensure

Educators Institute is not an approved educator preparation program in Utah or in any other state. The institution cannot recommend a completer for a teaching license in any state. Completion of the BAS-T does not, by itself, qualify a Candidate for a Utah teaching license or for a teaching license in any other state. A Candidate who seeks licensure must pursue it through a separate, state-approved route.

Student Outcomes Disclosures

The following outcome measures are disclosed under Utah Administrative Code R152-34-9. Data are current as of September 2026 and will be updated annually, following the close of each academic year.

Graduation or completion rate: Not yet available. The institution has not yet enrolled a cohort through to completion. The rate will be disclosed and published as soon as a cohort completes.

Percentage of Candidates who return after the first year: Not yet available for the reason stated above.

Licensure examination pass rates: Not applicable. Educators Institute is not an approved educator preparation program in any state. See Licensure section below.

Basis for any representation about the impact of the program on future earnings: Educators Institute makes no representation to Candidates about future earnings. No earnings claim is made in the institution's catalog, website, recruitment materials, or the enrollment agreement.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition at Educators Institute is $250 per semester credit hour. Both Bachelor of Applied Science in Teaching programs are 120 semester credit hours. A candidate pays tuition only for the credits taken at Educators Institute. The programs accept up to 60 approved transfer credits, including up to 30 credits through prior learning assessment, and at least 60 credits must be completed at Educators Institute. Total tuition therefore ranges from $15,000 to $30,000 (60 to 120 credits at $250 per credit), not including charges for repeated or additional coursework. Each admitted candidate receives an individualized estimate of credits required and total tuition before enrolling.

Candidates who enroll in Academic Year 2026-2027 receive a 100 percent scholarship and pay no tuition and no fees through completion of the program. The scholarship covers one repeat of any required course, up to a total of 12 repeated credit hours. Additional repeated credits, and courses taken beyond the program of study, are charged at $250 per credit. Full scholarships are not guaranteed for cohorts beyond Academic Year 2026-2027.

Educators Institute charges only the fees listed below. It charges no application fee, technology fee, course materials fee, graduation fee, or transcript fee, and provides course materials at no additional charge.

  • Payment plan enrollment fee: up to $50 per term, for candidates who pay out of pocket and choose a payment plan

  • Returned payment fee: up to $50

  • Chargeback fee: up to $50

Educators Institute bills tuition on a pay-as-you-learn basis and never requires a candidate to pay for more than four months of instruction at any one time.

Cancellation and Refund

A candidate may cancel enrollment within three business days and receive a refund of all money paid. After that period, tuition is refunded on a published schedule tied to each session: a full refund through the session census date, a 50 percent refund during the two weeks after the census date, and no refund after that. A candidate who is dismissed receives the same refund treatment as a candidate who withdraws. Where a district, employer, or apprenticeship sponsor paid tuition, the corresponding portion of any refund is returned to that payer. Educators Institute pays every refund within 30 days of receiving a valid request.

Financial Aid

Educators Institute does not participate in federal Title IV student aid. Candidates do not take on federal student loans to attend.

The full tuition, fee, and refund policies are stated in the Academic Catalog and the enrollment agreement, which govern. Questions about these policies may be directed to Educators Institute, and concerns may also be raised with the Utah Division of Consumer Protection.

Surety

Utah requires a registered postsecondary school to protect the tuition its candidates pay. A school meets this requirement either by demonstrating its financial viability to the Utah Division of Consumer Protection or by posting financial security in a form the Division approves, such as a surety bond, a certificate of deposit, or an irrevocable letter of credit. Educators Institute complies with this requirement in the form and amount the Division determines and maintains that protection for as long as candidates are enrolled.

This protection exists to cover prepaid tuition that a candidate has not yet used in the event the institution closes. Educators Institute further limits that risk by billing on a pay-as-you-learn basis, never collecting more than four months of instruction at one time, and by providing a full scholarship to candidates enrolled in Academic Year 2026-2027, who pay no tuition in advance.
