Great teachers are not created in isolation.

Educators Institute’s Mentor as Journeyworker model prepares experienced educators to guide aspiring teachers through structured coaching, feedback, and professional growth.

A journeyworker is an experienced practitioner who helps an aspiring teacher build the skills, judgment, and confidence needed to succeed independently. But mentors shouldn’t have to do this work alone.

Educators Institute provides mentors with high-quality training, ongoing support, practical tools, and opportunities for continued professional learning so they can effectively develop the next generation of teachers while continuing to support strong outcomes in their own classrooms.

By investing in mentors as instructional leaders, we strengthen not only the aspiring teachers they support, but the schools and communities they serve.
